Board of Limited Jurisdiction

The Sacred Heart School Board is designated a “Board of Limited Jurisdiction.” The purpose of the School Board is to promote and advance the mission of Sacred Heart School for the education and instruction of students in assisting them to reach the fullness of the Christian life and be ready for the world ahead of them. The Board shall be involved in assisting in the determination of overall policies in matters relating to education, including, but not limited to: enrollment, tuition, budget, and facilities. They also promote external relations in the community. The SHS Board consists of alumnae, parents and grandparents, past parents, and community leaders. Their bios and pictures can be found on the school website. Their meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 4:00 pm. The first 30 minutes of the meetings are designated for “persons wishing to address the Board.” If you are interested in being part of the Board or know someone who would like to support the school, please contact Mrs. Meyers, rmeyers@shschool.com.

Jose Cruz

Gina Bassetti

Though she may not be an alumnus herself, few can rival Gina Bassetti's love and devotion for Sacred Heart School. Gina's run for the Saints began in 1996 when her daughter Silvina enrolled in Sr. Bernadette's kindergarten class. From there, Gina's tenure as a Sacred Heart mom would last 20 years, which included sons Matthew and Joshua attending until 2016. Among her many contributions to the school, Gina's favorites were as librarian, pumpkin sponsor and room parent coordinator. She was a fixture on campus for two decades and loved every minute of it. Gina has since brought that same philanthropic dedication to local entities like Hartnell Little League and Palma School. Gina worked in Human Resources before stepping down to focus on raising her kids. She was born and raised in Santa Clara where she attended St. Claire's grammar school and Mitty High School.
